Well, I've been asked several times if I made a template as I went along. I finally made one this last week and uploaded it so anyone can use it. And here it is!

DeleteWhat age group do you recommend for a quiet book? I was thinking of making one for a first birthday gift but was concerned some of the pieces might be too small for him.
ReplyDeleteI have a one year old, and I do think some of the pieces are too small for her (she still likes to put things in her mouth occasionally). But she loves the velcro parts; I just have to supervise her. So, I guess my answer is go for it! If he doesn't use it immediately, he will use it eventually. :)

ReplyDeleteI want to say thank you for sharing your patterns. At the suggestion of my niece, I am making a Quiet Book for my grandson in Alaska. He is autistic and some of his favorite activities are sorting, counting and dressing his Mr. Potato Head. Thank you for providing the inspiration to make something he can take along with him on his therapies.
