Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios was super fun. My favorite attractions there this time were the Jedi Training Academy, Tower of Terror, and Toy Story Mania, although all everything else we did was really fun, too.

Getting off the bus and clearly all ready for the park:

Grandpa and all the grandkids:

We got to meet Donald and Daisy Duck right off the bat.

At Hollywood studios groups of stormtroopers march around to music all the time. It's kind of awesome. Zelda, though, told me seriously while holding her new little Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal that, "Winnie the Pooh doesn't like stormtroopers."

I can't tell you how many times Banks and Max and Nan went on Tower of Terror that day because I don't know - maybe somewhere upwards of twenty? I went with Ellie for her first time, and she went lots of times with them, too.

Ezra went once with Alyse and afterwards, when they were in the gift shop and when Max was excitedly talking to him about it, Ezra was nodding and smiling. But then when Max left, Ezra leaned over to Alyse and said, "Mom, I have to tell you something."

Alyse: "What is it?"
Ezra: "No, in your ear."
Alyse leaned over and he put his hand up to her ear and whispered,  "I hate the ghost ride." 😂

At some point during the day we watched the "Disney Junior Live" show which the kids liked, and which the adults liked because we got to sit down in an air conditioned building.

Then we did Jedi Training, which the kids loved.

After the kids got in some light saber practice, Darth Vader made a great, dramatic entrance.

Max was impressed.

I was impressed with all the kids' bravery fighting Darth Vader and his sidekick.

The coolest padawans there (I'm I allowed to use that word if I had to google it?):

After Jedi Academy training, we met Olaf, watched the show "Frozen Sing-Along Celebration," and (most of the group) went on Tower of Terror a bunch more times.

While everyone else was on Tower of Terror, Dad and I watched the youngest kids outside.

We then watched Beauty and the Beast musical and....went on Tower of Terror a bunch more times.

Dad and I played with the kids on Hollywood Blvd while the others went on the tower.

We ended the day by going on Toy Story Mania a couple times (so fun!) and meeting Buzz and Woody.

Hollywood Studios was a great, fun park!
