Where, O death, is now thy sting?

There are so many things I want to say this morning, on Easter morning.

I know that Jesus Christ lives. He is real. His life was real, his miracles were real, his sacrifice was real, and his resurrection is real. Because of him, we will live again.

I know that Jesus Christ loves each one of us. And not just in some big mass - he knows each of us by name. He loves us individually.

Because of Jesus Christ, we will be reunited with our loved ones that have died.

Two of my very favorite songs are "He is Risen" and "Christ the Lord is Risen Today."

"He is risen! He is risen!
Tell it out with joyful voice.
He has burst his three days' prison;
Let the whole wide earth rejoice!
Death is conquered; man is free.
Christ has won the victory."

"Love's redeeming work is done,
Fought the fight, the vict'ry won,
Jesus' agony is o'er,
Darkness veils the earth no more,

Lives again our glorious King,
Where, O death, is now thy sting?
Once he died our souls to save,
Where thy victory, O grave?"

Because Jesus lives, we will live again too. Where is thy victory, o grave?
